Over 45 farmers commit suicide in India every day. With over 50% of our population in a similar occupation, it only makes sense that we adopt the best practices from around the world and educate farmers about where they go wrong.
We believe in "Teach to fish" rather than giving away a wish. Oh, why not both?.At Farm Shiksha, we thrive to teach students / farmers from low income groups to be well trained with the best farming practices around the world in our very own premises and also help them learn about value addition of their produce / Storage techniques etc.
We also go to Government aided schools and teach students to make a passive income through small farming techniques which could be cultivated at their own homes like mushroom , mini-poultry etc.
Donate to help a child to learn and educate herself on farming and make a living.
